Hallowe'en nail art!

As I was browsing this weekend I found these spooky nail art designs for Hallowe'en! These are three of my favorites!  

Thanksgiving weekend

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! In between the busyness of the past few days I was able to get out for a long walk in the woods and was inspired by the fall colours. The leaves and the fields made a beautiful pallete of fall time beauty that we can transfer to our beauty regime and makeup routine!

Dark brown!

Consider a mud bath to detox and rejuvenate your skin. Add dead sea mud or moor mud to a hot bath and soak for 20 minutes. Rinse well and wrap up in a sheet and a warm blanket for a half hour to continue perspiring and prolonging the detox process!

Saffire blue is a great company that sells raw materials to make cosmetics and other products. Check this link for wholesale prices on dead sea mud which is high in minerals and nourishing for the skin.

Gorgeous golds and deep reds!

Becca Beach has this amazing shimmer cake that will. Bring a touch of gold to your face and body. I say check it out and let it inspire you to shine and shimmer like the leaves of fall!!

Red lips are HOT!! Check this link for Harpers Bazaar nest lipsticks for fall. I love the Anna Sui red lip but I have to admit that Guerlians kisskiss lipstick is gorgeous even if it is not red! I think of the pale peachy colour of a maple leaf just turning...beautiful!

Fall is here and it is a great time to update your look or try something new!

Lise Watier has a great set of eyebrow pencils which includes a pencil for blondes! OPI holiday collection just came out...beautiful!

As a big fan of darks, purples and reds for nails I LOVE the Gwen Stefani collection for the holidays!! Imagine yourself and your clients wearing these deliciouly rich colours and you can almost hear the holiday cheer in the air!

Yes, the holiday season is ahead of us but we still have fall to enjoy first! Makeup colours for fall are neutral overall and MAC has a sweet collection called "Artificially Wild".

I like the matte finishes and the gorgeous caramel eye colours that compliment the grey and pink really well. Wrap yourself in a sweater and jeans with a neutral smokey eye using these colours and you will be ready to rock a walk in the woods or a coffee at the bistro! Does the brush matter??

When OPI changed their brush to the larger pro size in 2006, all of my esthetician friends and colleagues were complaining because it was different and hard to get used to. Eventually we did get used to it and I actually prefer it now over the thinner width of brush in the polish bottle. I came across is blog today and thought I would share. What do you think? Lavender smokey eye!

Since I have hazel eyes and purple makes my eyes pop, my personal favorite colours for eyeshadow are shades of plum, heather and lanvender. Lisa Eldridge did a lavender smokey eye on Sophie Dahl and made a tutorial for all of us to learn from. Check it out. Beautiful. :)

I particularly like the blog on the new OPI neon colours from May 19, 2014. OPI has come out with some great neons and a white base coat for underneath so that the colours are bright and full!
